Disclosure could very well be the next best thing happening to electronic music. With their catchy electropop tracks filled with UK Garage influences, they seem to be conquering the world looking at their tour dates.
Other than the fact that they’re from Surrey, Britain, there’s not much to be found on this cool electropop act. We stumbled upon their Soundcloud recently and fell in love with Latch, their latest production.
Featuring Sam Smith on vocals, the song reminds us of Sam Sparro’s earlier productions (remember Black & Gold?) combined with early UK Garage influences. Wobbly basslines, fast ticking hi-hats and warm string sounds are words that best describe their sound.
What’s in your head?
While checking out more of Disclosure’s productions we noticed they had also produced What’s in your head, an old skool sounding house track that we’ve been playing a lot recently. You have to listen to the rest of their songs on Soundcloud, definitely refreshing from anything else that’s coming out today!
