Ladyhawke’s blue eyes

You’ll probably know Ladyhawke from Paris is burning, her big breakthrough in 2008. The female singer from New Zealand is back with a new album and a new single. Blue eyes is a cool rock track with a couple of electronic influences and a catchy chorus in which she sings about her blue eyes.

And now that you realize
You’ve seen it in my blue eyes, my blue eyes
There’s nothing more I can do but sing you:
La-la la-la-la la-la-la-la la-la-la, la-la-la-la la-la-la

Alright so, the track’s lyrics aren’t the strongest. Nevertheless, it’s an enjoyable and fresh piece of music that will put a smile on your face. We’re curious as to whether this will be in a tv-ad or not, because that’s the kind of sound Blue eyes brings to the table. The video for the song is interesting enough as well: a combination of psychedelic images and Ladyhawke’s dance moves filmed in the desert.
